This video features Strips, our new VCA based 4 channel stereo mixer with EQ, FX loop, panning, mutes and external CV control for automated muting and mixdown.
Everything is being sequenced from a Beatstep Pro. Here’s what’s going into Strips:
Channel 1: bassline played on FC Product modular synth
Channel 2. lead played on FC Monograf synthesiser
Channel 3: BD – Seismograf module and electro blips/toms – 2 x Boom!! Sub-mixed using Volts Platz
Channel 4: SD – Seismograf SD module
Additionally, Stasis Leak is being used for delay in Strips’ FX loop.
I’ve made heavy use of mutes and FX in this little mix, together with some hard panning. I think it works really well – a great way to incorporate some mixing facilities into your Eurorack. Enjoy!
